KW: Trump wanted to get out of fighting mad wars and he set the goal of exiting Afganistan during his presidency. However it seems the credit is going to go to Joe Biden whether he likes it or not. Fox News Tucker Carlson I would argue is the only U.S. jounalist that understand the complicated weave of U.S. policy and the breathtaking lies behind the decisions. The New York Times fake news story about Russia placing bounties on U.S. soldiers was nonsensical on its face. The target was always Donald Trump and blocking his policies. The alleged bounty was pointless. The Afghans had been killing invading American soldiers for two decades. It is a war.  Why would Russia bother to pay Afghans to do what they had every reason to do and were already doing?
