KW: The truth about what is going on in Crimea is continually mistold and the lies repeated without any investigation of what is really going on. The fact that in the referendum that Crimean’s voted on, 96% voted to rejoin Russia the traditional home of the majority Russian speaking Crimeans, (virtually unanimous) is also ignored by western media that continues to perpetrate the lies for Washington’s purposes. Instead we are fed the lie that Russia invaded Crimea and forcefully took it from Ukraine and is therefore an international criminal. Obama sanctioned Russia for the annexation of Crimea by Russia in a completely bloodless move and vote, once more ignoring the truth that it was the U.S. itself that backed that overthrow of then Ukrainian President Victor Poroshenko that ignited the Crimean wish to no longer be involved with Ukraine that was being attracted to join the E.U. All Crimeans are happy to again be part of the motherland, Russia
Arina TSUKANOVA: …For three years the Western democracies have been turning a blind eye to the historical choice made by the people of Crimea. Ukraine has repeatedly tried to challenge this choice through provocations, blockades, and blackmail. However, the people of Crimea used to live without electric lights or heat and to endure inconveniences and deprivations, if only to avoid becoming once again part of Ukraine.
