Apocalyptic scenes of Damascus suburb obliterated by violent clashes (RT EXCLUSIVE DRONE FOOTAGE) — RT News

Anyone living outside Syria has little idea about why so many Syrians have fled their own land overland on foot or in leaking boats sailing or marching to unknown destinations with little if any possessions, but these images and video graphically give the reason why. This is more handiwork of ‘neo-con’ thinking. The Syrian battle ground ultimately is the creation of western policy dedicated to regime change in  Syria just like has occurred in Libya and Iraq. In both these countries we all know that the incumbent strongman, Muammar Gaddafi and Saddam Hussein respectively were overthrown in a western backed coup or western invasion. In both countries anarchy and chaos has resulted. Bashar al-Assad has resisted pressure so far to force him to abandon his rule in what is left of his country, just like Libya and Iraq before hand, a proud and reasonably prosperous country. Who has the right to make the decisions to inflict this destruction upon another sovereign state?

The Jobar neighborhood of Damascus is the epicenter of some of the fiercest fighting in Syria with Islamist rebels refusing to give up their only stronghold. Once densely populated, the area has now been completely obliterated, RT’s Murad Gazdiev reports.
