At A Time Of Rapidly Creeping Authoritarianism, Assange’s Case Is More Crucial Than Ever | by Caitlin Johnstone | Sep, 2020 | Medium

KW: Caitlin Johnstone is showing us just how dictatorial the State of Victoria has become with the failed covid 19 response becoming draconian and she draws a valid comparison between what is happening to fellow Australian Julian  Asssange in an already bought off British court and the right for ordinary Australians to protest even on line. Some family members say I am blind to what is happening before our very eyes- and I may be. But I try to think about the situation created by covid-19 rationally realising I am in the age group that appears to be doing most of the dying from covid and that worries me but I also look at the economic damage that our governments have wrough upon the whole world and wonder abou the safety of mankind going forward. When you have malitia on one side of the street being black and malitia on the other isde being white and both sides armed to the teeth with weapons I see something that is more about somebody stting the people against themselves and manipulating the outcome into their favour and its all casued by the covid crisis responses of different people in different places and eventually all of us losing. I don’t know of the solution right now. I am told on good authority that the Black Lives Matter movement is funded by white people!! So little makes sense

My home state of Victoria has become the center of attention in the anti-lockdown movement for its authoritarian crackdown against not…
