The total corruption of the U.S. media is one good reason why we place much higher credence on RT and alternative media sources.

The story has relevance in New Zealand as our media is as equally corrupt as CNN. Last week TV3 news attempted to tell a story on their main 6pm news bulletin that President Assad was planning another chemical attack on his own people according to some shady U.S. evidence of some description apparently from the Whitehouse. (See Moon of Alabama Stories). Knowing there is no evidence that Assad has ever committed this crime I was too outraged to watch any more of this constructed lie and changed channel but the lies and false narratives are alive and well here in NZ as the U.S.
