Incarcerating the former UK diplomat, human rights activist, and blogger Craig Murray for contempt of court is a disproportionate measure which could have grave repercussions for independent journalism.

KW: We have in the past published stories and statements by Craig Murray who was a noted and remains still active supporter of Julian Assange himself jailed without charge apart from the American attempt to extradite him back to America where he would no doubt die still incarcerated for telling the truth about American war crimes in Iraq and elsewhere.

In this instance it was his suport for former Scottish MP and now broadcaster Alex Salmond who was charged with sex offences- and acquited by trial that has given the chance to the British deep state to silence him from all commentary by jailing him too for a prescibed breach that mainstream journalist s are told not to tresspass.

Noted Australian journalist John Pilger may himself be threatened becasue his disclosure of war crimes makes the establishment feel guilty and they don’t like that
