Neo Con – What do we mean, who are the neo cons?

Neoconservatism, shortened to neocon, is a political movement that started in United States in the early 1960’s apparently among Democrats disenchanted with the party especially its foreign policy, states Wikipedia. According to Global Research Neocons” believe that the United States should not be ashamed to use its unrivaled power – forcefully if necessary – to promote its values around the world. Some even speak of the need to cultivate a US empire. Neoconservatives believe modern threats facing the US can no longer be reliably contained and therefore must be prevented, sometimes through pre-emptive military action. Their influence surged during the two Bush administrations, both George HW Bush and George W Bush but there is really little difference under Obama who had Hilary Clinton as his Secretary of State in his first term and she is beholden to neocons for her electoral support. Clinton himself flirted with neocon doctrine when he launched strikes against targets in both Afghanistan and Sudan in 1998.

The original neocons were a small group of mostly Jewish liberal intellectuals who, in the 1960s and 70s, grew disenchanted with what they saw as the American left’s social excesses and reluctance to spend adequately on defense. After the Soviet Union’s fall, the neocons critisized what they saw as American complacency. In the 1990s, they warned of the dangers of reducing both America’s defense spending and its role in the world. One such threat, they contend, was Saddam Hussein and his pursuit of weapons of mass destruction. Since the 1991 Gulf War, neocons relentlessly advocated outing of Hussein. Many early neocon thinkers were Zionist Jews and published articles in the American Jewish Committee.

Global Research states: “Most neocons have unwavering support for Israel, which they see as crucial to US military sufficiency in a volatile region. They also see Israel as a key outpost of democracy in a region ruled by despots. Believing that authoritarianism and theocracy have allowed anti-Americanism to flourish in the Middle East, neocons advocate the democratic transformation of the region, starting with Iraq. They also believe the US is unnecessarily hampered by multilateral institutions, which they do not trust to effectively neutralize threats to global security.”

Prominent neoconservatives in the GW Bush administration included Paul Wolfowitz (after which the US foreign policy statement, the Wolfowitz Doctrine was named), John Bolton, Elliott Abrams, Paul Bremner and Richard Perle. Senior officials Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld didn’t identify themselves as neocons but adhered to neocon policy especially in regard the defense of Israel and the build up of American military might to achieve these goals. Naturally the numbers now are vastly greater than these prominent names from the last Bush administration.

There are a number of institutions that are dedicated to neocon philosophy. Wikipedia report several of these being:

Foundation for the Defense of Democracies; Henry Jackson Society; Hudson Institute; Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs; Project for the New American Century; American Enterprise Institute

These organisations have several mouthpieces some closely associated with mainstream press including:

Commentary; Front Page Magazine; The Public Interest; The Weekly Standard; The Washington Free Beacon

Should you search these references you will discover the close Zionist Jewish links.

Neocons are the driving force behind US foreign ‘relations’ that summarised can be stated as ‘my way or the hi-way’. Dominance is the key and achieving the objective is done at almost any price with human loss and suffering no deterrent to the outcome. Hence we have the appalling suffering of refugees mostly of Arab origin fleeing their own destroyed countries on foot or in anything that possibly floats. They arrive with nothing, onto the shores of Greece (itself a victim of neocon philosphy, neocons control the banks) Italy, France and the Balkan countries. What is weird is the apparent welcoming arms of Germany’s Angela Merkel risking major rebellion in her own parliament and country where massive resistance is already unfolding, but we note that ever since the end of WW2 Germany has been occupied by American forces and does not have its own independent foreign policy just like neighbour France.

What we do know is that neocons are closely associated with the Zionist Jewish movement. These people have been linked to numerous events around the world that loosely have been labelled by those attempting vigilance as ‘false flag’ events. No doubt we will discuss these events in the future as more information about each false flag event comes to light.

So if neocons are closely associated with Zionist Jews just what and who are Zionist Jews?

Zionism is a Hebrew word that describes a nationalist political movement of Jews and Jewish culture and the re-establishment of a Jewish homeland in territory loosely defined as the historic state of Israel (basically Palestine, Canaan or the ‘Holy Land’. It was started in 1896 by Theodor Herzl whose goal is the return of Jews to Eritz Yisrael, or Zion, the Jewish synonym for Jerusalem and the “Land of Israel”.The name of “Zionism” comes from the hill Zion, the hill on which the Temple of Jerusalem was situated. Supporters of this movement are called “Zionists”. Zionism is a political movement and not all Jews are Zionists and not all Zionists are Jews.

Naturally current (Benjamin Netanyahu) and former leaders of Israel like Golda Meir, Menachem Begin and David Ben-Gurion are Zionists but it is that so many of the United States decision makers of today are also Zionists and they are truly influential in how US foreign policy is actioned today. Little wonder the Palestinians that occupy the Gaza Strip get pummelled to smithereens every now and then by Israel for such minor provocations while the US remains silent on these atrocities. But it doesn’t just end there.
