KW: I find the tenor of this article somewhat skeptical and critical of the talks between North and South, unusually so as Tyler Durden is mostly very even minded in his comments. I put it down to the fact he is actualy American. Whereas I view these talks between the two Koreas as something much more significant. They want to be friends and reunite the penninsula, the odd boy out is the U.S. being ignored by the two Korean leaders, with its large military presence in the South near to China that it is confronting globally in a trade war, ususally the forerunner of an all out shooting war.

Keep in mind, the North has made similar promises before.
