An Open Letter to Prime Minister Jacinda Adern.

Prime Minister. You are under attack from the right wing press and every capitalist commentator you can think of anxious to prove you are out of touch and that the country is going to ruin. Nothing of the sort is actually happening: these people like Hosking, Wooten, McClay, ‘analyst Paul Buchanan’ and their ilk are blind and ignorant to issues that you appear to be taking a measured approach towards and you are to be congratulated.

All of them condemn your leadership relating to the alleged Russia spy poisoning urging you to ‘get on board’ with the rest of the world and condemn Russia but none of them, absolutely none of them, can point to any proof of this alleged incident because there is no proof that the attack actually occurred. Only assertions and blame and they want you to ‘stand tall’ and side with the western rhetoric and blame game believing the lies that have been spread by British Prime Minister Theresa May.

There is no need to expel Russians from New Zealand.

Back to the media frenzy. None of these media/political commentators have engaged their own brains to examine the reports they are hearing about and are simply regurgitating the story with embellishment and none are asking obvious question like if these novachoks are exclusively Russian manufactured why would Russia condemn itself to exposure as the culprit by using something that nobody else has? It doesn’t make any sense at all. They may as well have left a note saying ‘we did it’ on the table under a bottle of vodka! Its completely absurd that Russia would leave its signature on a crime such as alleged.

Plus why would Russia try to kill someone who lives in Moscow that they allowed to fly out and leave Russia the day before the alleged poisoning took place in Britain when they could have strangled her with her own scarf killing her in Russia and nobody would have known a thing. Allowing her to travel freely to Britain and then poisoning her over there doesn’t make any sense. But the questions have not been asked.

The policeman who was allegedly poisoned by the same chemical nerve agent wasn’t anywhere near them when he was poisoned as he is now known to have been poisonoed inside Sergie Skripal home in Salisbury. As well no one else in the restaurant or pub bar was affected by the poison where they were allegedly attacked. This doesn’t make sense. The first attendant nurse who treated the two alleged victims on the park bench was not affected either. For such a lethal nerve chemical you would expect a series of immediate deaths in the surrounding area but none have been reported. This doesn’t make sense. Further there is no proof so far that Sergie Skripal and his daughter are even in hospital.

Would Russia be as stupid to attempt to kill these people 2 weeks before the Russian election where Putin won with a massive landslide that makes Theresa May and Donald Trump green with envy and 100 days before the World Cup in Russia and face mass boycotts once more as has happened in previous world sporting events such as the Olympics in 1980?

What this was is a badly prepared provocation of Russia that has every right to be offended by such mass western hysteria. Putin it is claimed is a genius who can influence the U.S. elections with a few cheap adds on Facebook, influence the Italian election by supporting the left wing and it is claimed influenced Brexit that was strongly supported by current Foreign affairs Minister Boris Johnson. Yes, an absolute genius yet apparently so stupid that he botched an alleged killing in Britain with an agent that could only lead to the condemnation of Russia as the responsible country.

This claim is rubbish and so Prime Minister I urge you to stand tall and draw your own conclusions and avoid the enormous pressure to ‘fall into line’ over a made up lie about Russia, the operative word being ‘fall’, particularly when we have no grudge with the Russians. All of us are being asked to take on trust what Theresa May claimed in the Commons without a shred of evidence about what happened in Salisbury which leads me to think that this alleged crime report by Theresa May has the same sort of feel and rush to judgement with ultimatums as when the west went to war over non existent weapons of mass destruction in Iraq that led to the invasion of Iraq and the subsequent destruction of that country.
