Benjamin Netanyahu has failed to secure a 5th term as Israeli Prime Minister unless of course he can sufficiently undermine Benny Gantz’s coalition efforts that still leave Israel with a lot of uncertainty. Netanyahu lost despite boasting that he would annex parts of the West Bank that Israel has already taken from the Palestinians and his defeated plea to retain power “Benny, we must set up a broad unity government, as soon as today. The nation expects us, both of us, to demonstrate responsibility and that we pursue cooperation,” the 69-year-old former Prime Minister said.
