Panic is starting to drive Los Angeles authorities to take drastic measures to attempt to stem the flow of methane gas that is gushing uncontrollably from a leaking well not that far from the city centre. It seems the Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) knew about the issues years ago. Forget about the recent Paris talks on climate change this monster is out of control and not likely to be fixed any time soon. Here in New Zealand lets not get too worried about a few farting dairy cows causing climate change. This well is a gusher and has been out of control now for months.

Funny not one mention as far as I’m aware from mainstream media

Documents show that the gas company that is currently spewing 100,000 pounds of methane into California’s air knew about leaks long before this one sprang.
