KW: This is the most plausible reasoning about what happened in Turkey. Erdogan orchestrated the bumbled coup him self to seize absolute power. Now the arrests have started with hundreds arrested, purges of  2,745 judges and prosecutors and hundreds of army personnel arrested.

Fethullah Gulen, accused by Erdogan of orchestrating the attempted military coup that rocked Turkey, turned the accusation against his political rival suggesting that Erdogan’s ruling AKP party had staged the uprising.
