The gist of the articles you read in the NZ Hearlad or Cominion Post is that Russia and Putin is stirring up trouble in Belarus just like he disn’t and hasn’t invaded the Ukraine. These are lies they want to misinform you as the opposite is the case. Once again the U.S. propaganda machine is flat out spinning a tangeled web of lies to make Russia and especially Putin to be the bogeyman in the world. Not So! It is sections of Belarussian society wanting to turn Belarus into a Ukraine getting support from NATO and the U.S stirring along the agitation and casuing trouble. That is the tactic.
Belarus has seen a wave of mass anti-government protests, triggered by the results of the August 9 presidential election, which the opposition believes was falsified. While Lukashenko received more than 80 percent of the votes according to official figures, his critics accuse him of rigging the vote. The crisis has sparked mass demonstrations and strikes across the country in recent weeks.The election result has been also challenged by several Western countries including the United States and the collective European Union, which has refused to accept the outcome and has supported the protests.
