‘No time to ask Russia’s opinion, I had enough evidence anyway’ – WADA doping report author to RT — RT Sport

KW: Amidst the grand standing denunciation of Russia by the New Zealand media about Russian doping on our TV news and radio broadcasts it is hard to go against the tide and even offer some alternative view, but here it is for you to make up your own mind. The report is not as conclusive and completely damning as Peter Williams and our subservient American news TV report makes out. More than this, the report itself is not questioned by any reporter as to its bias or truthfulness and when you take into account the driving force behind the report you find a U.S. and Canadian  combination in the propaganda war that is to demonize Russia on every occasion.

Lets be straight, I abhor doping in sport like, I imagine, everyone else does too. Having myself ridden in a chase group following the American Lance Armstrong and his U.S. Postal Service Team on Le Tour de France through the Alps more than once it is a major disappointment to realise that what I actually followed was not a great American rider, a supreme athlete beyond the realm as it were, but a drug cheat. 7 times a winner but actually all on drugs. Lets also not forget Carl Lewis, Flo Jo, Marion Jones and it goes on.

Here is a face to face interview with the author of the WADA report Richard McLaren. It is bad but No he didn’t go to Russia or interview any Russian………….

Richard McLaren, a Canadian lawyer and the author of the latest WADA report on alleged doping by Russian athletes, told RT that he did not ask the Russian Sports Ministry to provide any opinions about the doping allegations. McLaren also claimed he had enough evidence, but would not make it public.
