The U.S. apart from Nikki Hayley shouting obscenties about Russia has been pretty silent about this incident (Trumps attention is focused on General Motors closing down 5 factories in the U.S. but none in China or Mexico, something he prided himself on reversing, so he is pissed off annoyed about that and is making all sorts of threats to GM management) and this leaves Poroshenko sort of out on a limb and looking stupid at the momment with both the NATO allies and the U.S. itself becasue his tug boats are hardly confrontational military craft fit for purpose if he was serious about making a claim and Russia was always going to intervene
