KW: Seemingly if you keep annoying, obstructing and interferring in other peoples lives too much you lose out in the end becasue they find a common casue for agreement. This is a biased American view of the developments but still worth while reading

By Nomi Prins: ‘There has been great tension between the U.S. and China in the past several months due to the coronavirus, on top of the trade wars. Now, a new event will ratchet up the tensions even higher. China and Iran have announced a new partnership that could create trouble for the U.S. in the Middle East and beyond.

This new partnership will include “trade, energy, infrastructure, telecommunications, and even military cooperation.” This partnership likely came to fruition from the pressures that both countries have faced from the U.S. in the form of economic sanctions and trade restrictions. The partnership adds a whole new level of complexity to the region’s already complex geopolitics. The U.S. faces a chess game and it may keep the U.S. in the Middle East longer than anticipated.’
