Fukushima Amplifies Murphy’s Law

No one talks about the disaster at Fukushima in Japan. The Japanese are secretive and in complete denial about the magnitude of the disaster. Indeed they openly lie, as is honorable when you are about to be discredited for covering up a complete and utter disaster not only for Japan but for the rest of the world. Stories abound about deformed fish being washed up onto Californian and Washington State shores thousands of miles from Fukushima but in direct line of prevailing Pacific currents.

So what if we here in New Zealand are also the recipients of toxic radiation from this same site?

    Hydro -> Drowns too many trees
    Geothermal -> Too rare to achieve much
    Wind -> Unreliable and too expensive
    Solar -> Unreliable and too expensive
    Tidal barrages -> Upsets the fish
    Wave generators -> Not proven yet
    Bio fuels -> not enough Orangutan habitat left to destroy for palm oil
    Petroleum based -> IPCC and assorted Greens say not allowed

    What are we left with? Where do we get our energy from to keep civilization running? Pedal power????
