Grant Williams is a highly respected market and investment commentator and founder of the brilliant subscription investment website Real Vision. Here he talks for a couple of minutes about the pending FED rate increase due to be announced……… but lets think about it for a second or two.

A +0.25% pa rate increase is no earth shaker, it’s not like the increase is back up to 3% or 4% for long bonds, yet everyone is nervous about what is likely to happen to markets should such a minor adjustment happen tomorrow. If the US economy is doing so well and growing strongly like we are told whats the difference between 0.00% and 0.25%? If the economy can’t stand that minor tweek then what else is wrong?
